Happy 2008

We had a wonderful New Year's Celebration at my friend Jennica and her husband Tyler's house in Grand Rapids. The night ended quite dramatically with some candle wax. Luckily, it all made it on video...see for yourself! Happy 2008!

Christmas Vacation 2007

Josh is so happy! He did a great job with his manners all week! My family truly loves him:)

We had 27 family members in attendance for our first shower. Here they all are, mostly 2nd and 3rd cousins! We are so blessed:)

My Aunt Wendy is a professional pianist, she is awesome! You can check her out at www.wendyloomis.com. Josh and Wendy jammed a few times, it was super fun to listen to my fiance and my favorite Aunt playing the piano together:)

When we came home from Orlando, we were blessed even more to go downtown Chicago to experience its' rich culture! Here is a picture of Josh and me at the Museum of Science and Industry. Josh is actually Neil Armstrong in this pic if you couldn't tell!

We also were able to go to a famous restaurant, Maggiano's, see The Phantom of the Opera at the Cadillac theatre, and see an amazing film, "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly." Thanks Powell family:)

Our trip ended with a journey to Detroit for one of my best friend's weddings. We had to leave the reception a bit early in order to drive back to Holland. Josh had to wake up super early for church the next morning.

We had a wonderful Christmas Break and would like to thank our families for making it so wonderful. HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2008 sounds like a great year to me:) (I wonder why?)

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful time at Dean and Suzanne's house for Thanksgiving dinner! It was so nice to see all the family again! Don't forget the chocolate fondue...
We can't wait to come back to Chicago in a couple weeks! I love the holiday season1

This blog was created too...

Hi guys!

I thought it would be cool to have a family blog for pictures, videos, announcements, and thoughts.

Dad and I just created this blog while we were waiting for the women to finish their spending spree.
